Tommy – Physio Powered by PT Expertise

I'm Tommy, a Physiotherapist at Bank On Movement. I qualified in January 2025 after completing my Master's in Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University, alongside continuing to work as a personal trainer. I particularly enjoy treating sporting injuries and helping active people return to training and competition safely and confidently.

I've always been fascinated by how the body moves and adapts. My interest started through studying biology, psychology and PE at school, before completing a degree in Sport Science and working as a personal trainer. As my passion for helping people grew, progressing into physiotherapy felt like a natural next step. I love helping people overcome injury, regain confidence in their movement and get back to doing the things they enjoy—whether that's competing in sport or simply living without pain.

My approach is centred around understanding the individual in front of me. Every patient has different goals, routines and challenges, so I take the time to build a treatment plan that fits into their lifestyle rather than expecting their lifestyle to fit around rehabilitation. I believe that the best results come from creating sustainable habits, empowering people with the knowledge to understand their injury and giving them the confidence to manage it long after they've left the clinic.

What drew me to Bank On Movement is the shared belief that great physiotherapy is about more than treating symptoms. It's about providing evidence-based care in a welcoming environment where people feel listened to, supported and involved in their recovery every step of the way.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me out on my road or gravel bike, whether that's training, racing or simply exploring somewhere new. I also enjoy hiking and making the most of any opportunity to travel and experience new places. Staying active is a big part of my life, which helps me understand both the physical and mental challenges that can come with injury and returning to sport.

Whether you're recovering from a sporting injury, dealing with persistent pain or looking to move with more confidence, I'd love to help. My aim is to make every patient feel comfortable, listened to and supported from their very first appointment, while helping them achieve goals that are meaningful to them.
